Tour Bus & Support Vehicle Coordination

A tour stop is rarely one vehicle. The headliner rides private in a tinted Mercedes S-Class, the band and manager take an SUV, and crew with instruments roll in a Sprinter — three or four vehicles moving on the same clock. Royal Carriage runs the whole set off one dispatch so the artist's car, the band car, and the equipment van all hit the venue in the right order. A single venue stop usually books as a 4-to-8-hour Sprinter contract at $556 to $1,112; a full single-day tour-stop covering artist, band, crew, and equipment across three or four vehicles runs $2,500 to $4,500, with multi-stop tour-leg pricing available on a custom contract.

Equipment moves with the crew. Sprinter vans handle instrument cases, amp racks, and standard touring gear; for a full backline or drum kit, we add a partner cargo Sprinter with 24 hours' notice. The point is one team handling the artist's ride and the gear together, instead of patching two vendors against the same load-in window.

Venue Load-In Zones & Late-Night Wraps

Every Chicago concert venue has its own load-in pattern, and most of it isn't on Google Maps. The United Center uses a back service entrance and a chauffeur lot; House of Blues loads through the Chicago Avenue alley; Allstate Arena runs off a Rosemont service road; Wintrust Arena takes the Cermak entrance. Royal Carriage drivers know the unmarked routes, so an artist's car isn't stuck in the general traffic pattern while production waits.

After-show transport is where the night actually ends. A concert wraps at 11pm or midnight, most artists do meet-and-greets until 1am, then dinner or an after-party runs to 3 or 4am — and the same chauffeur stays through all of it on hourly billing with no peak pricing. Artist privacy holds the whole time: NDA-bound drivers, tinted windows, no photos, no posts. References for touring acts that have played the United Center and Allstate Arena are available to production teams.
