About the Scholarship
Royal Carriage Limousine has served the Chicago community since 2018, providing luxury ground transportation to thousands of passengers across the region. As a family-owned business rooted in the transportation industry, we believe in investing in the people who will drive it forward.
The Royal Carriage Driver's Education Scholarship was created to support Illinois students pursuing careers in transportation, logistics, and hospitality. Whether your goal is to manage a fleet, run a hotel, design supply chains, or lead a transportation company. We want to help you get there.
Each year, one student receives a $1,000 award to put toward tuition, books, fees, or other educational expenses. This is our way of giving back to the community that has supported our growth from a small operation to one of Chicago's most trusted limousine services.
Eligibility Requirements
- ·Must be a current high school senior or undergraduate student enrolled at an accredited institution
- ·Must be an Illinois resident
- ·Must be pursuing a degree in transportation, logistics, hospitality management, or a related field
- ·Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale
- ·Must submit a complete application package including essay and recommendation letter
Application Process
Prepare Your Essay
Write a 500-word essay describing your career goals in transportation, logistics, or hospitality and how this scholarship will help you achieve them.
Get a Recommendation
Ask a teacher, counselor, or employer to write a letter of recommendation on your behalf. It should speak to your character, work ethic, and potential.
Submit Your Application
Email your essay and recommendation letter to info@royalcarriagelimo.com with the subject line: 'Scholarship Application — [Your Full Name]'.
Await Decision
The scholarship committee reviews applications on a rolling basis. You will receive a response within 4-6 weeks of submission.

Everything you need to know about applying
The Royal Carriage Driver's Education Scholarship is a $1,000 award for Illinois students pursuing degrees in transportation, logistics, or hospitality. It is funded annually by Royal Carriage Limousine to support students entering the ground transportation and hospitality industries.
Applicants must be current high school seniors or undergraduate students, Illinois residents, pursuing a degree in transportation, logistics, hospitality management, or a related field, with a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
A completed application includes a 500-word essay on your career goals in transportation or hospitality and one letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or employer. Email both to info@royalcarriagelimo.com.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Submit your materials early for the best chance of consideration. Awards are disbursed twice per year, spring and fall semesters.
Recipients are selected by the Royal Carriage scholarship committee based on academic achievement, the quality of the essay, recommendations, and demonstrated interest in the transportation or hospitality fields.
The $1,000 award is a one-time grant. Former recipients may reapply in subsequent years and will be considered alongside new applicants.
