A Cubs game is one of Chicago's best group outings, and one of the worst for coordinating multiple cars. Post-game, the party bus stages on Clark Street while your group finishes the last inning. Text the chauffeur as you exit. The bus is ready before the general crowd reaches the street. Many groups extend by an hour for a post-game Wrigleyville bar stop at Murphy's Bleachers or Cubby Bear before heading home.

The Cubs play 81 home games at Wrigley from April through early October, roughly one game every other day through the summer. Weekend home stands and marquee matchups against the Cardinals, Brewers, or White Sox draw sellout crowds of 41,649 and trigger city-permitted street closures on Addison between Clark and Halsted. Those closures go up 90 minutes before first pitch and don't lift until foot traffic clears, typically 45-60 minutes after the final out.

Street closures change your approach route. On closed-Addison nights, rideshare drivers often drop passengers 4-6 blocks away and let them walk. Royal Carriage chauffeurs use Sheffield Avenue and Waveland Avenue approaches to reach the Clark Street gate without crossing the closure. You walk 50 feet to the entrance, not half a mile from where your app driver abandoned you.

No-re-entry policy. Wrigley Field does not allow re-entry after you leave the gates. Groups that need a driver to hold bags, coordinate timing, or return for a pickup at a specific door benefit from having a dedicated chauffeur, not a rideshare that may be three miles away when you exit.

Concerts at Wrigley run June through August and typically sell out faster than Cubs games. The Park at Wrigley configuration seats 40,000+ in a different layout than baseball, exits funnel differently, and the entire crowd leaves within 10 minutes of the final song rather than trickling out over two innings. Post-concert Clark Street is heavier than any regular-season Cubs game. Same flat rate. Book early.
