Royal Carriage is a licensed commercial livery operator carrying $1.5M commercial auto liability that covers paid passengers, the coverage personal auto and rideshare policies exclude. Uber/Lyft drivers operate under a rideshare policy that applies only during an active trip; a licensed commercial carrier is held to commercial standards full-time. For executive, corporate, and group transport, that licensed commercial standing is the difference.
Yes. Chauffeurs are W-2 employees with full Workers Compensation coverage (not 1099 contractors like rideshare). All chauffeurs are covered by Royal Carriage's commercial auto + liability insurance during every booking. Customers and passengers covered as well.
Up to standard limits in the commercial general liability policy. For high-value items (jewelry, art, electronics over $5,000), recommend separate transit insurance.
