Do you provide car seats for O'Hare and Midway airport transfers?
Yes. Royal Carriage provides rear-facing infant seats, forward-facing toddler seats, and booster seats. All seats are sanitized, pre-installed, and adjusted for your child's age and weight prior to your pickup.
Is there an extra charge for car seats?
We charge a minor flat fee of $15 per seat to cover the meticulous sanitization, vault storage, and custom pre-installation in the vehicle. There is never any surge pricing or hidden fees.
Can I bring my own car seat and have you store it?
Yes! If you prefer your child to ride in their own seat, your chauffeur will help you secure it. We offer secure, temperature-controlled warehouse storage for your seat while you are away, and we'll have it pre-installed when we pick you up for your return flight.
Are your chauffeurs trained in car seat safety?
All Royal Carriage chauffeurs are professional, W-2 company employees trained in LATCH anchoring systems and standard vehicle safety protocols. Your chauffeur will double-check that the seat is secure before departure.
Which vehicles can fit multiple car seats?
Our Cadillac Escalade SUVs fit up to 3 car seats comfortably while leaving ample trunk space for strollers and heavy luggage. For larger family groups or more than 3 children, our Mercedes Sprinter passenger vans are the ideal choice.
