The drive from Chicago to Columbus
Columbus is a 355-mile haul southeast of Chicago, about 5 hours 15 minutes door to door. That distance puts it firmly in overnight territory, and a chauffeured sedan at $1,095 turns the longest part of the trip into rest rather than five-plus hours of interstate concentration. We plan a comfort stop on the way and time arrivals around Ohio State game-day traffic when the Horseshoe is filling up. Spreading out in the back seat for the run east is the difference between arriving fresh for a campus visit or business meeting and arriving wrung out from the wheel.
