Gala season fills the calendar with benefit dinners at the Field Museum, the Art Institute, Navy Pier, and the ballrooms of the Drake, the Hilton Chicago, and the Four Seasons. Each of these venues handles arrivals differently. Some funnel cars through a single porte-cochere where a backup forms fast; others stage drop- offs along a side entrance to keep the red-carpet line moving. Our chauffeurs work these rooms regularly and know where to pull in so your party steps out at the right door, not half a block away.

Timing is the other half of a good arrival. Cocktail hour and the official photo window are short, and showing up too early means standing in an empty lobby while too late means missing the program. Tell us the start time and we plan the pickup so you land inside the window you want, with the driver communicating with venue staff on drop-off protocol as you arrive.

A gala rarely involves a single couple. More often it is a full table, a board, or a corporate group spread across a few hotels who all need to reach the same ballroom at the same time. A Sprinter van or limo keeps the group together from the hotel to the venue and back, and for larger events we run several vehicles on a coordinated schedule so no one is left waiting at the curb in formalwear.

Most gala clients book through midnight or later, because the night usually ends with an after-party, a late dinner, or a quiet ride home rather than at the last speech.
