For a retiree couple celebrating with a downtown dinner — sometimes joined by 1-2 close friends.

Itinerary

• 5:00 PM — Pickup at home / suburb
• 6:00 PM — Drop at restaurant (Joe's Stone Crab, Gibsons, RL Restaurant, etc.)
• 8:30 PM — Pickup, optional Riverwalk stop or post-dinner drink
• 9:00 PM — Drop at home

What to Look For in a Retirement Vehicle

Easy Ingress

The Mercedes Sprinter has the lowest step-in for older guests — 8 inches with a side step. Stretch limos have low step-ins (4 inches) but tight squeezes. Stretch SUVs have higher step-ins (12 inches) and aren't ideal for guests with mobility limits.

For mixed-age groups, Sprinter is almost always the right call.

Climate Control

Retiree dinners often run 8-11 PM. December-March pickups need a vehicle warmed up (we pre-warm 15 min before pickup). July-August needs the AC running on full blast 20 min before. Tell dispatch about the retiree's preferences.

Chauffeur Manner

Retirement parties often include a brief tribute moment in the vehicle (e.g., grandkids hand the retiree a card during the drive). Tell dispatch in advance — we'll lower the partition or pause music for the moment.

Use Case: Spouse-Surprise Retirement

Common booking: spouse plans a surprise retirement dinner. Retiree thinks they're going to a "low-key dinner" with their spouse. Then the limo arrives, and 12 family members are already inside.

Logistics

• We pick up the family group first (suburb or downtown hotel)

• Spouse + retiree come out — surprise reveal at the vehicle

1. Brief the chauffeur on the surprise — they'll know not to "spill the beans" when the retiree first sees them
