Salvage One is the architectural-salvage warehouse and event space at 1840 W Hubbard Street in West Town, near the Kinzie Industrial Corridor. It's a working salvage business — five floors of reclaimed mantels, doors, chandeliers, and stained glass — and couples book it precisely because the decor is already there: weddings happen amid the collection, surrounded by vintage fixtures rather than a blank ballroom. It also hosts corporate events and parties that want that lived-in, antique-store atmosphere.

Hubbard Street is a quiet industrial block, which is good for staging but means there's little foot traffic or signage to orient guests at night. We position the bridal car at the warehouse entrance for the arrival and the exit, and route guest drop-offs to the same door so nobody wanders the corridor looking for the right building. For bigger guest lists we shuttle from downtown and West Loop hotels in loops, since street parking in the industrial blocks is sparse and unlit after dark.

The location is a couple of minutes from the Kennedy via the Hubbard and Ogden ramps, so it's a fast run from downtown hotels and a flat $130 sedan from O'Hare. A typical Salvage One wedding pairs a stretch or sedan for the couple with a sprinter van or party bus for guest shuttles and a getaway car at the close. Corporate clients usually book SUVs for VIP arrivals plus a shuttle for the wider group coming from the West Loop.
