Inside the Cadillac Escalade ESV

The Escalade ESV is the long-wheelbase version of the standard Escalade, which is exactly why we run it as our default luxury SUV. The extra 15 inches over the regular model goes straight into the cargo hold and third-row legroom — so six adults ride without anyone's knees pinned, and four full-size suitcases fit behind the rear seats without folding anything down. Our chauffeurs keep the captain's-chair second row configured for adults who want their own space, but the bench second row is available on request for families who need to seat seven.

Every Escalade in the fleet runs the 38-inch curved OLED dashboard display, tri-zone climate so the back seats set their own temperature, heated and ventilated leather, and a magnetic ride suspension that smooths out the worst of the Kennedy and Dan Ryan expansion joints. The AKG 36-speaker audio is there if you want it, but most clients keep the cabin quiet for calls. Rear-seat USB-C ports, a 110V outlet for laptops, and onboard Wi-Fi mean a downtown roadshow stays productive between meetings. Privacy glass on the rear three windows keeps the cabin out of view at the curb.

SUV vs. Sedan — Which to Book

If you're traveling solo or as a couple with carry-on bags, a Lincoln Continental sedan from $130 does the job and costs less per hour. Step up to the Escalade when you have three or more passengers, oversized luggage, golf clubs, ski gear, or a child seat that eats a back row. The Escalade is also the better call for client-facing arrivals — it simply makes a stronger impression pulling into a Gold Coast hotel or a wedding venue than a standard sedan does. How Booking and Billing Works

Hourly bookings run on a 3-hour minimum and the clock starts at your scheduled pickup, not when the vehicle leaves the garage. Airport transfers are billed as a flat fare — $130 to O'Hare and $130 to Midway for a sedan, with the Escalade priced a tier above — so a traffic jam on the Eisenhower never changes your fare.
