Bridgeport Art Center occupies a former Spiegel warehouse at 1200 W 35th Street on the South Side, in the old Bridgeport neighborhood near the river. Its draw is the Skyline Loft on the top floor — a timber-beamed event hall with a rooftop terrace and downtown skyline views — plus a chapel-style room and gallery floors used for weddings, galas, and corporate events. It's a big building with freight elevators serving the upper floors, so timing arrivals to the right entrance matters more here than at a ground-level space.

The building has its own parking lot, which is unusual for a Chicago event space and makes drop-off straightforward — drivers pull into the lot and unload at the main door rather than fighting street parking on 35th. For weddings we stage the bridal car at the entrance and run the couple up to the Skyline Loft, then hold for the exit; for larger galas we shuttle guests in loops from downtown and South Loop hotels so the lot doesn't fill before the event starts.

Bridgeport sits just off the Stevenson Expressway (I-55) and the south end of Lake Shore Drive, so the venue is a quick run from the Loop, McCormick Place, and Midway (flat $130). For a Skyline Loft wedding the common package is a stretch or sedan for the couple plus a sprinter van or party bus shuttling guests from their hotel, with the bridal vehicle on standby through the reception. Corporate clients usually book sedans and SUVs for VIP arrivals and a shuttle for the broader guest list.
