Is Royal Carriage actually affordable compared to Uber?
For standard rides during off-peak hours, Uber may cost less. But during peak pricing (rush hour, weekends, rain, holidays, concerts), our flat fare frequently beats Uber Black by $30-80+. You also get a guaranteed luxury vehicle, flight tracking, free wait time, and included gratuity — none of which Uber offers.
Are there any surprise charges or charges?
None. Our quoted price includes gratuity (15%), Illinois Tollway charges, flight tracking, and up to 60 minutes of free wait time at airports. The only potential extra is venue parking if your driver needs to park at an event (rare). No booking fees, no fuel surcharges, no cancellation fees with 24-hour notice.
How do flat fares work?
When you enter your pickup and drop-off addresses on our booking platform, you receive an exact price. That price is final — it does not change regardless of traffic, weather, or route taken. For hourly charters, you pay the agreed hourly rate times the number of hours booked.
Can I get a discount for booking multiple rides?
